Work for the Many

Most Vermonters are scraping by in an economy designed to make a profit for the few. But when workers fight back by organizing together, we can win. I will fight for:

  • The right to unionize for agricultural workers, who are disproportionately migrants and  not covered by existing union protections

  • Just cause termination, so your boss cannot fire you without due process

  • The right to strike for all public sector workers, including university staff and faculty

  • The abolition of binding interest arbitration, which lets cities and towns force workers back to work without a fair contract

  • Better working conditions for all, including an end to the overtime exemption for logistics workers and the right to sit while on the job

  • Paid family and medical leave and expanded Unemployment Insurance to cover all workers up to 100% of their salary, including school staff and workers on strike
